Just finished watching this documentary about the history of Hacienda Luisita and how the massacre came to be for our PI100 class. Was crying the whole time (almost). The Philippines remains poor not because of a damaged culture, the Philippines remains poor because of the few rich bastards who keep on imposing their evil ways so that majority of the population will remain poor and will blindly be subjected to them. 

And now I have this feeling of wanting to change the world. Come on people, let’s not permit things like these to happen again.
